Michael Litke
ISTD Licentiate level qualified professional Ballroom and Latin instructor, Michael pairs his passion for Ballroom and Latin dance with solid professional experience. Since 2003 Michael has taught dance classes in London, inspiring hundreds of dance enthusiasts to follow their dreams.
Michael teaches a range of classes and workshops. His teaching style is personal, professional and above all, fun! Michael works with each student to discover their ideal learning technique.
During his career, Michael has choreographed many TV projects, recent ones he has been involved in include: Teaching and judging first wedding dance challenge at ITV’s ‘This Morning’ show Teaching Bonnie Langford to Waltz for ITV’s show ‘Dancing on Ice’ Choreographing a Waltz piece for ‘Peter and Alice’ by John Logan with Dame Judi Dench and Ben Whishaw, directed by Michael Grandage
Michael has become the Same-Sex Vice Ballroom World Champion in August 2018 in Paris and the Same-Sex Latin European Champion in July 2017 in Berlin as well as winning competitions in Paris, Miami, Brighton in 2017 and London in 2018. He was featured in a BBC News short documentary in May 2018.
